AS AND WHEN REQUIRED PROCUREMENT OF TRACK MAINTENANCE WORK FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS

What this tender is about

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) is inviting bids for the 'As and When Required' procurement of track maintenance work. Scope of work

• Procurement of track maintenance work for a period of 36 months.
• Supply and delivery of a prefabricated building container (Mess room and Kitchenette) approximately 12.0m x 3.0m with fixed air conditioning, leveling of the platform, and resurfacing of the tar platform at the end of the contract.
• Installation of kitchen cupboards, doors, ironmongery, metal work including security gates and screens, canteen tables, aluminium windows, and steel lockers.
• Tiling with vinyl sheeting and electrical work including supply and installation of air conditioning and connection to station power.
• Construction of structural concrete steps and provision for human capital including Site Manager, Site Supervisor, and Labourers.

• Proposals must reach PRASA before the closing hour on the date shown on SBD1 and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope.
• Late bids will not be accepted for consideration.
• Changes by the Bidder to its submission will not be considered after the closing date and time.
