RE-ADVERT: APPOINTMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT EXTERNAL AUDITOR FOR THE PROVISION OF EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES TO AGRÉMENT SOUTH AFRICA FOR A PERIOD OF 3 YEARS.

What this tender is about

Agrément South Africa is re-advertising for an independent external auditor to provide audit services for a period of three years. This is a Request for Proposal procurement method. Bidders must confirm their independence and that of their proposed team members, adhering to IFAC Code of Ethics. Scope of work

• Provision of external audit services to Agrément South Africa for a period of 3 years.
• Confirmation of independence and ethical requirements by all team members proposed for the assignment.
• Confirmation that the firm is independent with regard to Agrément South Africa and its related parties.
• Confirmation that all proposed members comply with independence requirements as set out in the IFAC Code of Ethics and the Quality Control Policies and Procedures of the firm.
• Confirmation that no matters have occurred which may impair the firm’s independence.
• Confirmation that the firm currently does not do, nor has done any work for Agrément South Africa which may result in a direct conflict of interest.
• Confirmation that there is no conflict of interest between Agrément South Africa and any of the staff members involved in the audit.
• Assessment of capabilities and competence of staff assigned to the audit.
• Confirmation that none of the directors of the firm sit on any audit or advisory committees of Agrément South Africa.
• Confirmation that the firm has not been subject to any issues regarding ethical misconduct.
