INVITATION TO TENDER – BID 1264/2026-F: APPOINTMENT OF EXTERNAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER(S) TO ASSIST IN CONDUCTING INTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES AS PER INTERNAL OPERATIONAL PLANS AT VARIOUS PROVINCIAL DEPARTMENTS, MUNICIPALITIES, AND PUBLIC ENTITIES AS AND WHEN THE NEED ARISES FOR THE PERIOD OF THREE YEARS

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury is inviting bids for the appointment of external professional service providers to assist in conducting internal audit services. These services will be required at various provincial departments, municipalities, and public entities as and when the need arises, for a period of three years. A compulsory briefing session will be held on 2026-09-22 at 10:00. Bids must be submitted by 2026-10-12 at 11:00. This is an open tender procurement process.

Scope of work

• Appointment of external professional service providers to assist in conducting internal audit services as per internal operational plans at various provincial departments, municipalities, and public entities.
• Services to be provided as and when the need arises for a period of three years.

3. COMPULSORY VIRTUAL BRIEFING SESSION The compulsory virtual briefing session will be held as follows: Date: 22 September 2026 Time: 10:00 am Bidders need to submit their company names, email addresses and telephone numbers to acquisition@kzntreasury.gov.za no later than 18 September 2026 at 11:00 am to attend the virtual briefing session. The attendance register (Microsoft Teams) will serve as proof that the service provider did attend the virtual meeting.
