Scope of work

• Installation and infrastructure upgrade of an anti-climb perimeter security fence at Eskom Megawatt Park (MWP).
• The project includes eleven (11) months of construction and thirty-six (36) months of maintenance and support.

Important requirements

• Tenderers must ensure adequate provision is made in the Bill of Quantities for health and safety measures required by Eskom.(BOQ_.xlsx, sheet Cover)
• Design shall be undertaken by ECSA-registered Professional Engineers. Construction shall only commence after design freeze.(BOQ_.xlsx, sheet B2 Design & Docs)
• The Contractor must maintain the security integrity of the MWP perimeter at all times during works. No section of barrier is left open at the end of a working day unless temporary security measures are in place.(BOQ_.xlsx, sheet B3 Outer Barrier)
