REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR OUTDOOR LED SCREEN DIGITAL BILLBOARD

What this tender is about

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) is inviting small businesses to submit quotations for the supply and installation of a 2-sided outdoor LED screen digital billboard at Umjanthsi House in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. The scope includes construction of the screen structure, electrical and data cabling, content management software with 36 months maintenance, a control system, and 36 months of hardware and software support. A compulsory briefing session will be held on 17 August 2026 at 10:00 AM at 30 Wolmarans Street, Braamfontein. Quotations must be hand-delivered to the same address by 10:00 AM on 27 August 2026. Late or incomplete quotations will not be considered. Bidders must comply with all mandatory requirements, including OEM accreditation and proof of certified structural engineer and electrical contractor.

Scope of work

• Supply and installation of a 2-sided digital LED screen billboard, including structure construction with 3m ground clearance, electrical and data cabling, content management software with 36-month maintenance, control system, and 36-month support and maintenance.
• Provision of a Digital Content Services Specialist on an as-needed basis for technical and creative management of the digital outdoor advertising network.

How to submit

• Bids must be hand-delivered only to MS ANNAH HLAELE at 30 WOLMARANS STREET, JOHANNESBURG, UMJANTSHI BUILDING (OPPOSITE GAUTRAIN STATION), RECEPTION AREA.
• Quotations must be submitted in a sealed envelope and must reach PRASA before the closing hour on the date shown on SBD1.
• All prices must be quoted in South African Rand on a fixed price basis, including all applicable taxes.
• Respondents are required to self-register on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
