REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS) GAP ANALYSIS

What this tender is about

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) is inviting small businesses to submit quotations for a Quality Management System (QMS) Gap Analysis. This service will evaluate PRASA's operational activities against ISO 9001 and SANS 10399 standards, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for remediation. The analysis will cover various business units including Corporate, Rail Operations, Autopax, Group Capital and PRIM, and Intersite. Bidders must submit their quotations by hand delivery to 30 Wolmarans Street, Johannesburg, by 10 September 2026 at 10:00 AM. Late or incomplete quotations will not be considered. The project duration is estimated to be between 6 to 8 weeks.

Scope of work

• Evaluate PRASA's operational activities against ISO 9001 and SANS 10399 standards requirements.
• Identify gaps in processes, documentation, and controls as required by ISO 9001 and SANS 10399.
• Provide recommendations for remediation of identified gaps and an actionable plan.
• Assess and opine on PRASA’s maturity and readiness for certification or surveillance audits for ISO 9001 and SANS 10399.
• Develop and implement a skill transfer plan as part of the project execution.

• Bids must be hand-delivered only to MS LULAMA LUFUNDO at 30 WOLMARANS STREET, JOHANNESBURG, UMJANTSHI BUILDING (OPPOSITE GAUTRAIN STATION), RECEPTION AREA. Ensure you sign the submission register.
• Proposals must reach PRASA before the closing hour on the date shown and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope.
