Scope of work

• Completion of Soweto Infrastructure Upgrade and Rehabilitation Project in Super Block 7B (Orlando East and West).
• Soweto (Orlando) STS prepayment water meter and retrofitting installations.(JW 14506 BOQ - Completion of SIURP..., sheet Bill of Quantities)
• Preliminary and general works including establishment of facilities for engineers, contractors, and SMMEs, OHS and EMP obligations, and removal of site establishment.
• Site clearance including clearing, grubbing, removal of topsoil, and removal/reinstatement of man-made surfaces.
• Earthworks for pipe trenches, including excavation, ancillaries, and shoring.
• Bedding for pipes, including provision of bedding from trench excavation and imported materials.
• Medium pressure pipelines, including supply, lay, bed, test, and disinfect of various pipe types and sizes.
