REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ): SERVICE PROVIDER NEEDED FOR THE ONCE OFF SERVICES OF AN APPROVED INSPECTION AUTHORITY TO CONDUCT HYGIENE SURVEYS AND HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENTS THROUGHOUT THE KZN REGION.

Scope of work
- Conducting vibration assessments for SCM Stores Forklift and Perway TLB, hand held tamping machine, cobra, ponjab, wacker.
- Performing HBA assessments at the Regional Office & Clinic, and HBA surveys at Springfield, RM shop and Fault room.
- Conducting ergonomic assessments for Regional Office, Rolling Stock Brake Block Changing, and Perway work sites.
- Performing drinking water quality testing for the Regional Office.
- Conducting air monitoring for dust at SCM Stores and Perway sites, and HCS monitoring for Rolling Stock and Electrical sites.
- Assessing Perchloroethylene exposure for Rolling Stock.
- Conducting ventilation surveys for Rolling Stock and Facilities.
- Performing noise surveys at various locations including Rolling Stock, Perway, Electrical, Signals, Durban Yard, Facilities, and Telecommunications.
- Conducting surveys for train sets entering and exiting the depot, compressors on motor coaches, and impact machines.
- Performing ergonomic studies for Rolling Stock underframe/roof and compressed air usage.
