SOMKHANDA COMMUNITY GAME RESERVE TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE REFURBISHMENT

Scope of work

• Refurbishment of tourism infrastructure at Somkhanda Community Game Reserve, including roof upgrades, alterations, waterproofing, and associated works.
• Preliminary and general items for construction, including site establishment, facilities for engineer and contractor, and time-related items like insurance and financing obligations.
• Alterations work, including temporary support works, removal of existing work, and repairs to existing structures.
• Waterproofing of roofs and associated areas, requiring a ten-year guarantee.
• Roof coverings, including replacement of thatch patches and installation of Harvey roof tiles over existing thatch, along with underlay.
• Ceilings, partitions, and flooring works, including insulation, gypsum plasterboard ceilings, and associated fixings.
• Provisional sums for nominated/selected sub-contract works, specifically for structural engineer inspection and certification of all roofs.
