Description
APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO RENDER AERIAL FIRE FIGHTING SUPPORT SERVICES OR ANY OTHER DISASTER RELATED EVENTS IN THE WESTERN CAPE FOR THE PERIOD 01 APRIL 2027 UP TO AND INCLUDING 31 MARCH 2030 ON A “CALL WHEN NEEDED” BASIS (ON STANDBY FOR THE HIGH FIRE SEASONS FOR THE DURATION OF CONTRACT). THE SERVICES MAY ALSO BE REQUIRED ON AN “AS AND WHEN NEEDED BASIS” FOR THE LOW FIRE SEASONS FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT.
Special conditions
Prospective service providers must indicate their intention of attending the compulsory virtual briefing session as per the requirements stated at point 4.2 of the Terms of Reference included in the attached bid/ tender document. No proposals will be accepted from prospective service providers who did not attend the virtual compulsory briefing session.
