FOR THE PROVISION OF ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE PROJECTS IN THE (GAUTENG PROVINCE)

What this tender is about

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) is inviting bids for routine road maintenance construction services across various national routes in Gauteng Province. The contracts are for a duration of 60 months. Interested parties must have a CIDB contractor grading of 8CE or higher and be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database. Joint Ventures are permitted if one partner is a Targeted Enterprise. A compulsory virtual briefing session will be held on 29 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. Tenders must be submitted by 12:00 PM on 15 October 2026 at SANRAL's Gauteng Provincial Office in Pretoria. Telephonic, facsimile, or emailed tenders will not be accepted.

Scope of work

• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Route N1 Sections 19, 20, 21, N3 Section 12, N12 Section 18 & N17 Section 1 (Johannesburg RRM).
• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Route R21 Sections 1 & 2, N12 Sections 18 & 19, N3 Sections 11 & 12, N17 Section 2 (Ekurhuleni RRM).
• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Route N4 Sections 1 & 2, N4 Sections 9, 11 & 12, N1 Section 21 & 22, R21 Section 2, R104 Sections 1 & 2 and R573 Section 1 (Tshwane RRM).

• Tenders must be placed inside the tender box at the Reception area, Provincial Office, Gauteng Province, 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria, 0081.
• Telephonic, telegraphic, telex, facsimile, or e-mailed tenders will NOT be accepted. No late tenders will be accepted.
• Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued. Bidders must ensure their names and contact details are reflected on the cover page of the bid document.

Special conditions

Only tenderers who are a CIDB contractor grading of 8CE as stated on the Tender Data may submit tender offers. Tenders from tenderers registered as potentially emerging enterprises with a CIDB contractor grading designation lower than a contractor grading designation required for this tender, will not be accepted. Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender. Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.
