THE REHABILITATION OF NATIONAL ROUTE N11 SECTION 13 FROM R518 INTERSECTION (km 8,345) TO GROOTSANDSLOOT RIVER (km 24,0)

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) is inviting bids for the rehabilitation of National Route N11 Section 13, from the R518 intersection (km 8,345) to GrootsandSloot River (km 24,0). This project is located in the Limpopo Province. The approximate duration for the works is 27 months, including a 3-month mobilization period. Tenderers must have a CIDB contractor grading of 9CE and be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database. A compulsory virtual briefing session will be held on 29 October 2026 at 11:00 AM. Tenders must be submitted by 13 November 2026 at 12:00 PM at SANRAL's Gauteng Provincial Offices in Pretoria.

Scope of work

• Rehabilitation of National Route N11 Section 13 from R518 Intersection (km 8,345) to GrootsandSloot River (km 24,0).
• Routine road maintenance including grass cutting, drain cleaning, culvert cleaning, litter collection, and patching.
• Installation of hydrants and water meters.
• Supply, lay and prove ducts, including uPVC pipes and precast concrete pipes.
• Accommodation of pedestrian, non-motorised, and vehicular traffic during construction.
• Clearing and grubbing of vegetation, including removal of trees and stumps.
• Loading and hauling of materials for use in the works or to spoil sites.
