Provision of land evaluator at KwaZulu Natal

What this tender is about

The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is inviting small businesses to quote for the provision of land evaluator services. The scope of work involves assessing farms to determine property values, reviewing existing valuation reports, and verifying purchase prices against market values. The evaluator will also be required to collect evidence for legal proceedings and potentially testify as an expert witness. The contract period is two months or 320 hours, whichever comes first. Scope of work

• Valuation of specific farms and portions, including inspection, measurement, and analysis of real estate parcels to determine current market value and development potential.
• Assess market values at relevant historical dates and critically review existing valuation reports.
• Verify purchase prices against market values and confirm property details against official records.
• Quantify losses suffered by the relevant Municipality and prepare expert reports for legal proceedings.
• Provide a final report on findings and support legal proceedings through testimony as an expert witness.

• Faxed and emailed tender documents will be accepted, but the onus is on the tenderer to ensure receipt by the SIU by the due time.
