BUILDING EXTERNAL FINISHES REFURBISHMENT AND REPLACEMENT ELS

What this tender is about

Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA) is inviting small businesses to quote for Building External Finishes Refurbishment and Replacement at King Phalo International Airport in East London. Scope of work

Important requirements

• Tenderers are referred to the 'Department of Public Works: Specification of materials and methods to be used - PW371-A' for preambles.(Copy of ANNEXURE A- Price Schedule..., sheet KPA)
• Contractors' prices must include all obligations, requirements, and specifications given in the Model Preambles and any supplementary preambles.(Copy of ANNEXURE A- Price Schedule..., sheet KPA)
• Contractors will be held solely responsible for any damage to services and must bear all costs for repairs and fees.(Copy of ANNEXURE A- Price Schedule..., sheet KPA)
• All demolitions and work on site must be carried out carefully and safely, avoiding structural damage to existing buildings.(Copy of ANNEXURE A- Price Schedule..., sheet KPA)
• Special care must be exercised not to interfere with electrical installations, with notice to be given for any disconnections.(Copy of ANNEXURE A- Price Schedule..., sheet KPA)
• Materials specified as 'removed' become the property of the Contractor, unless suitable for re-use and approved by the Representative/Agent.(Copy of ANNEXURE A- Price Schedule..., sheet KPA)
• Materials set aside for re-use remain the property of the Employer; the Contractor is responsible for their safety and any damage or loss.(Copy of ANNEXURE A- Price Schedule..., sheet KPA)
