Transnet SOC Ltd is inviting small businesses to submit proposals for the design, supply, repair, modification, installation, testing, and commissioning of traction (3kV DC and 25kV AC) and distribution (11kV & 6.6kV AC) substations. This service will be provided on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of twenty-four (24) months, covering the North & North-East corridors nationally. A compulsory briefing session will be held on 2026-09-10 at 12:00. Proposals must be submitted by 2026-09-21 at 12:00.

Scope of work

• Design, supply, repairs, modification, installation, testing and commissioning of traction (3kV DC and 25kV AC) and distribution (11 kV & 6.6 kV AC) substations.
• Services to be provided on an as and when required basis for a period of twenty-four (24) months.
• Services to cover North & North-East corridors.

Important requirements

• Attendance at the compulsory briefing session on 2026-09-10 at 12:00 is required.

• Proposals must be submitted by the closing date and time of 2026-09-21 at 12:00.
