People search for an eTenders login expecting it to be the gateway to bidding. It is not, and the distinction matters because the registration that decides whether you can be awarded work is a different one entirely.
This explains what portal access gives you and what it does not.
Browsing does not need an account
Published tender adverts are public. You can read what has been advertised without any login, which is worth knowing because it means nothing is gated behind an account you cannot create.
Portal registration is not CSD registration
This is the confusion worth clearing up. Creating an account on a procurement portal is an administrative convenience. Registration on the Central Supplier Database is the one that makes you eligible to do business with an organ of state, and it is what the buyer verifies at evaluation.
If you have registered on a portal but not on CSD, you are not tender ready.
