MAINTENANCE FOR TERMINAL DIRECTIONAL SIGNAGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT AT KING PHALO AIRPORT FOR A PERIOD OF TWENTY-FOUR (24) MONTHS

Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA) has issued tender 12236 re-issue for the maintenance and replacement of terminal directional signage at King Phalo Airport. Scope of work

• Removal of existing sundry metalwork signage including No Smoking, Female Cube, Toilet, Female Ablution, and Information Desk signs.(Bill of Quantities.xlsx, sheet BOQ)
• Installation of various new signage including No Smoking/Vaping, directional signs for food court, car rental, ATM, retail, SAPS office, check-in counter, lift, parking, departure/security, and boarding gates.(Bill of Quantities.xlsx, sheet BOQ)
• Supply of new signage as per architect's specifications, with a budgetary allowance of R400,000.(Bill of Quantities.xlsx, sheet BOQ)

Important requirements

• All rates must include labour cost, waste allowances, overheads and profit complete.(Bill of Quantities.xlsx, sheet BOQ)
• The contractor will be required to issue a Certificate of Compliance (COC) upon completion of the works.(Bill of Quantities.xlsx, sheet BOQ)
• Contractors must factor in necessary scaffolding for working at heights in their rates; no additional costs will be entertained.(Bill of Quantities.xlsx, sheet BOQ)
• Professional services including designs, with a provincial sum of R80,000.00.(Bill of Quantities.xlsx, sheet BOQ)
