Appointment of a service provider as the B-BBEE verification agency for a period of 3 years

What this tender is about

The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) is appointing a B-BBEE verification agency for a period of three years. The appointed service provider will be responsible for compiling a balance scorecard and conducting the required B-BBEE verification for the HSRC. Key responsibilities include understanding the HSRC's operating model, planning and executing the verification process, and reporting on the HSRC's B-BBEE compliance status, including identified gaps and issuing a verification certificate. Proposals must meet pre-qualification criteria, including proof of certification in B-BBEE transformation, relevant tertiary education, and a minimum of five years of experience in B-BBEE verification services. Pricing must be inclusive of all taxes and annual escalations. Submissions are due by 16:00 on 13 October 2026.

Scope of work

• Verification of HSRC’s B-BBEE status, including a 3-month project plan, generation of a verification certificate, and reporting on identified gaps and compliance status.

• Proposals must be submitted by the closing date and time of 13 October 2026 at 16:00. No late submissions will be accepted.
