FOR THE PROVISION OF ROUTINE ROAD MAINTENANCE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE PROJECTS IN THE MPUMALANGA PROVINCE

What this tender is about

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) is inviting bids for routine road maintenance construction services across various routes in Mpumalanga Province. The contracts are for a duration of 60 months. Tenderers must have a CIDB grading of 7CE or higher and be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database. Joint Ventures are permitted if one partner is a Targeted Enterprise. A compulsory virtual briefing session will be held on 30 September 2026 at 10:00. Tenders must be submitted by 12:00 on 21 October 2026 to the SANRAL offices in Menlo Park, Pretoria. Telephonic, facsimile, or emailed tenders will not be accepted.

Scope of work

• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Route R23, S27 (R51), R35, R38, and R546 within Lekwa and Dipaleseng Local Municipalities.
• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Road R570, R571, R581, R582 within Nkomazi Local Municipality.
• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Route R35, R38, and N17 within Govan Mbeki Local Municipality.
• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Route R33, R38, and N17 within Msukaligwa Local Municipality.
• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Routes R33, R36, R540, R541, R555, and R579 within Emakhazeni Local Municipality.
• Provision of routine road maintenance construction services for National Routes N17, R38, and R541 within Chief Albert Luthuli Local Municipality.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database are eligible to tender. Joint Ventures (JV) will be allowed on condition that one JV partner is a Targeted Enterprise. The JV partner will, however, not contribute to sub-contract target for Targeted Enterprises.
