APPOINTMENT OF REGISTERED NATIONAL KEY POINT SECURITY SERVICE PROVIDER FOR SARAO/SKAO FACILITIES IN THE KAROO IN AND NEAR CARNARVON, NORTHERN CAPE FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS

The National Research Foundation (NRF) is inviting bids for the appointment of a registered National Key Point security service provider. This service is required for the SARAO/SKAO facilities located in and near Carnarvon, Northern Cape. The contract will be for a period of five (5) years. A compulsory briefing session will be held on 1 September 2026 at 09:00. Bids must be submitted by 16 September 2026 at 12:00. This is an open tender process.

Scope of work

• Appointment of a registered National Key Point security service provider for SARAO/SKAO facilities in the Karoo, Northern Cape.
• The contract duration for the security services will be five (5) years.

In addition, all mandatory functionality evaluation criteria indicated below must be submitted in accordance with the mandatory requirements detailed in the table on pages 35–37 of the bid document.
