The Supply and Delivery of Personal Protective Equipment to the PPECB

What this tender is about

The Perishable Products Export Control Board (PPECB) is seeking proposals for the supply and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The tender covers a wide range of items including various types of lab coats, jackets, trousers, freezer suits, rain suits, safety vests, overalls, cleaning aprons, respiratory masks, respirators, hard hats, safety goggles, headlamps, gloves, hearing protectors, first aid kits, spill kits, and safety footwear. Bidders are required to quote prices inclusive of VAT, embodying, setup, and packaging, but excluding delivery costs. If an item is unavailable, an equivalent must be quoted with its description and code. The quantities listed are for evaluation purposes, with final quantities determined by business needs during the contract period. Proposals must be submitted by the closing date of 6 October 2026.

Scope of work

• Supply and delivery of various Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including thermal lab coats, acid-resistant lab coats, lab jackets, lab trousers, thermal freezer suits, conti suits, waterproof rain suits, high-visibility vests, fire fighter vests, women's overalls, cleaning pinafores,...(ANNEXURE C.xlsx, sheet Pricing Schedule)
• Supply of general office supplies including pens, rulers, erasers, pencils, staplers, staples, ink, highlighters, glue, calculators, markers, sticky notes, tape, scissors, folders, plastic sleeves, file dividers, lever arch files, batteries, file fasteners, elastic bands, diaries, clipboards,...(ANNEXURE C.xlsx, sheet Sheet2)

Important requirements

• Prices quoted must include VAT, embodying, setup, and packaging. Delivery costs are to be excluded.(ANNEXURE C.xlsx, sheet Pricing Schedule)
• Where an item is unavailable or discontinued, bidders must quote on an equivalent item, providing its description and code. The bidder must clearly indicate where items have been replaced with an equivalent.(ANNEXURE C.xlsx, sheet Pricing Schedule)
• Items and quantities listed are for evaluation and comparison purposes only. Final items and quantities will be determined by business need during the contract period.(ANNEXURE C.xlsx, sheet Pricing Schedule)
