The Maluti-A-Phofung Special Economic Zone (MAPSEZ) is establishing a panel of suitably qualified and CIDB-registered Civil Engineering Contractors. This panel will serve for a period of three years on an 'as and when required' basis. Contractors will be appointed in CIDB Grades 1CE to 3CE. The scope of work includes civil engineering construction, repairs, maintenance, and minor alterations within the MAPSEZ facilities in Harrismith, Free State. Appointment to the panel does not guarantee work, but allows eligible contractors to be invited for specific work packages. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 on 15 September 2026. Evaluation will be based on eligibility, administrative compliance, responsiveness, and functionality.

Scope of work

• Establish a panel of CIDB-registered Civil Engineering Contractors (Grades 1CE to 3CE) for construction, repairs, maintenance, and minor alterations on an 'as and when required' basis for three years.
• Works may include earthworks, township services, water and sewerage systems, stormwater management, and other associated civil engineering works.
• All works will be executed within the Maluti-A-Phofung Special Economic Zone property boundary in Tshiame, Harrismith.

How to submit

• Submit one (1) original completed tender document in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the Tender Number and Project Description. All returnable documents must be properly indexed and neatly bound. Additionally, submit a flash drive containing an electronic copy of the complete bid submission.
• Tender submissions must be sealed and clearly marked with the tender number and description. Telegraphic, telephonic, facsimile, electronic, and late submissions will not be accepted.
• The closing date and time for submission of tenders is 11:00 on 15 September 2026. Ensure bids are deposited in the official MAPSEZ bid box before closing.
