Scope of work

• Provide temporary employment services for positions up to Deputy Director level.
• Provide headhunting services for permanent posts identified as critical and priority vacancies.
• Source suitable candidates through various platforms, including digital media.
• Conduct preliminary interviews and thorough suitability checks for recommended candidates.
• Submit reports on screening outcomes, including demographic information and qualifications.
• Facilitate performance agreements and reviews for temporarily appointed employees.
• Manage employee benefits, timesheets, and invoicing for temporary employment services.
• Conduct exit interviews for temporary employees and submit reports.
• Provide a diverse pool of applicants, including candidates from designated groups.

How to submit

• Proposals must be submitted by 11:00 on 14 October 2026 in the form of an electronic version (USB) and 1 original hard copy.
• All bids must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the reception area of the Department of Science and Innovation (DSTI) at CSIR Building no 41, Scientia Campus, (CSIR, South Gate Entrance), 627 Meiring Naude Road, Brummeria, Pretoria, 0184.
• The proposal must be clearly marked with Bid No: DSTI04/2026-27, Description: Recruitment Agencies, Bid Closing date and Time: 14 October 2026 at 11:00, and Name and Address of Service provider.
