APPOINTMENT OF A QUALIFIED SERVICE PROVIDER TO UNDERTAKE THE SERVICING, INSPECTION, TESTING, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE OF THE FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM AT THE NHBRC SUNNINGHILL OFFICE FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS

The National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) is seeking a qualified service provider for the servicing, inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance of its fire protection system at the Sunninghill office. Scope of work

• Maintenance services for the NHBRC Sunninghill Office fire detection, suppression system, and firefighting equipment.
• Quarterly servicing of fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and fire hydrants.
• Ad-hoc repairs of fire detection, suppression system, and firefighting equipment on a quotation basis.
• Supply of parts or components for maintenance purposes.
• Supply and installation of new fire detection and suppression systems or firefighting equipment units if uneconomical to repair.
• Commissioning of new fire detection and suppression systems or firefighting equipment units, including site acceptance test documents.
• Conducting necessary repair installations and providing a certificate of compliance when required.
• Providing a 36-month maintenance and guarantee on all new installations and parts supplied.
• Inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repairs of fire extinguishers, gas fire suppression systems, and fire hydrant systems.
• Service the fire detection system every 3 months, including testing alarms and components.(NHBRC RFQ 04 07.docx, section Fire Detection System)
