What this tender is about

Air Chefs SOC Ltd is inviting small businesses to quote for comprehensive refrigeration maintenance and repair services. This includes quarterly preventive maintenance for cold rooms, freezer rooms, split unit air conditioners, cassette air conditioning units, heat exchange units, and heat recovery and ventilation systems. The service also requires 24-hour emergency call-out support with a 4-hour response time, fault diagnosis, and repair. A compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 8 October 2026 at 11:00. Quotations must be submitted by 16:00 on 9 October 2026. The delivery location is 20 Jones Road, Jet Park, Boksburg, Ekurhuleni.

Scope of work

• Quarterly preventive maintenance of cold rooms, including temperature verification, calibration, inspections of components, leak testing, minor refrigerant top-up, cleaning, and electrical checks.
• Quarterly preventive maintenance of freezer rooms, including compressor servicing, refrigerant pressure testing, defrost cycle inspection, fan motor inspections, door seal inspections, electrical inspections, temperature calibration, alarm system inspections, and coil cleaning.
• Quarterly preventive maintenance of split unit air conditioners, including filter cleaning/replacement, coil cleaning, condensate drain cleaning, refrigerant pressure checks, electrical inspections, fan motor inspections, thermostat testing and operational testing.
• Quarterly preventive maintenance of cassette air conditioning units, including cleaning, drain pump inspections, refrigerant checks, electrical inspections, fan motor inspections, controller testing, filter replacement and performance testing.
• Quarterly preventive maintenance of heat exchange units, including inspection of surfaces, coil cleaning, pump and motor inspections, pipework and valve inspections, calibration of control devices, efficiency testing and mechanical inspections.
• Quarterly preventive maintenance of heat recovery and ventilation systems, including fan and motor inspections, bearing lubrication, filter inspections and replacement, duct inspections, airflow measurements, heat recovery wheel inspections, control panel inspections and cleaning.
• 24-hour emergency call-out service available 365 days per year, with emergency response within 4 hours of notification, fault diagnosis and repair services.
• Preparation and submission of service reports and technical recommendations.
