The panel will be responsible for the supply and delivery of food and grocery products on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of three years. Appointment to the panel does not guarantee any minimum business; requirements will be sourced through a Request for Quotation process among panel members. Bidders must comply with all technical and commercial requirements, including health, safety, and environmental policies. Submissions must be made by the closing date and time to the specified bid box. The tender is subject to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and General Conditions of Contract.

Scope of work

• Appoint a panel of qualified and experienced suppliers for the supply and delivery of food and grocery products on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of three (3) years.
• The panel will be used for sourcing requirements through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process among appointed members when a need arises.
• Categories include Dry Groceries (e.g., rice, flour, sugar), Perishable Goods (e.g., fresh fruits, dairy), Frozen Products (e.g., frozen vegetables, poultry), and A grade Meat & Poultry Products (e.g., beef, chicken).

How to submit

• Bid documents must be deposited in the bid box situated at Necsa Gate 3, R104 Elias Motsoaledi Street (Church Street West Ext), Pelindaba, 0240.
• Technical proposals must be submitted in Envelope One (one original, three copies, one electronic copy), with no pricing information.
• Pricing proposals must be submitted in Envelope Two (one original, one copy, one electronic copy), including all compulsory returnable documents.
• All costing and information must be typed and signed by the bidder; no handwritten costing/pricing will be accepted.
• Late bid submissions will not be considered.
