Non Compulsory Virtual Briefing Session Will Be Held on 22 September 2026 at 11h00am.

What this tender is about

The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) is inviting bids for the supply, configuration, installation, maintenance, and support of Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, specifically Aruba switches and WiFi access points. This is for the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) Head Office Phase 2 in Pretoria, Gauteng, for a period of 3 years. A non-compulsory virtual briefing session will be held on 22 September 2026 at 11:00. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SITA-Supplier Oracle ERP portal by the closing date of 05 October 2026 at 11:00. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with all technical and administrative requirements. Pricing must be in South African Rand (ZAR) and VAT exclusive. The evaluation will be based on a 90/10 preference point system.

Scope of work

• Supply, configure, and install wireless network access infrastructure, including removal of old equipment, labelling, mounting, and testing.
• Supply, configure, and install network switch infrastructure, including removal of old equipment, patching, labelling, stacking, and network management tool implementation.
• Provide general ICT infrastructure services, ensuring seamless integration with the current network, and maintenance and support for 3 years.
• Supply, install, and configure Aruba Core 5412R zl2 switches.
• Supply, install, and configure Aruba CX 6200F 24G Class4 PoE 4SFP+ 370W Switches.
• Supply, install, and configure Aruba CX 6200F 48G Class4 PoE 4SFP+ 370W Switches.
• Supply Aruba 10G SFP+ LC SR 300m MMF Transceivers.
• Supply Aruba 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 1m Direct Attach Copper Cables.
• Supply Aruba 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 3m Direct Attach Copper Cables.
• Supply, install, and configure Aruba AP-615 (RW) Unified APs.
