What this tender is about

The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation Limited (Necsa) is inviting quotations for a temporary Welding Training Facilitator. This role is based at the Necsa Learning Academy in Pelindaba, Pretoria. The facilitator will assist in training Welder Apprentices and students in various welding programmes and short courses. Key requirements include a Welder Trade Certificate (Red Seal), a minimum of 5 years operational welding experience, and a completed qualification in occupational related training. Quotations must be submitted by 8 September 2026. The evaluation will consider functionality, price, and B-BBEE status.

Scope of work

• Appointment of a Personal Service Provider to assist in training Welder Apprentices and students in various welding programmes and short courses at the Necsa Learning Academy.
• Provide training for Occupational Certificate: Welder, Occupational Skills Programme: Coded Welding, Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL), and welding short courses for Electrical and Mechanical students.
• The service provider must be registered on the Necsa Supplier Database.
