What this tender is about

The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa) is requesting quotations for an Instrumentation Training Facilitator. This role is on a temporary basis to assist in training apprentices at the Necsa Learning Academy for a period of 17 weeks, starting 1 October 2026. The facilitator must possess an Instrumentation Trade certificate, a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Qualified Artisan, and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Facilitator. Additional qualifications such as a Facilitator or Assessor Certificate are advantageous. Skills in communication, problem-solving, judgement, decision-making, and critical creative thinking are also beneficial. Quotations must be submitted by 8 September 2026.

Scope of work

• Appointment of a Service provider for Instrumentation Training Officer at Necsa Learning Academy on a temporary basis to assist in the training of apprentices from 01 October 2026 for period 17 weeks.
• Provide 680 hours of training as an Instrumentation Training Officer.
