PROVISION OF AUDIT SERVICES TO THE HUMAN SCIENCES RESEARCH COUNCIL (HSRC)

What this tender is about

The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) is seeking proposals for audit services for its grant from the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Scope of work

  • Conduct an annual audit for the CDC grant (Grant 2302 Cooperative Agreement: NU2GGH002302-05-09) for the period 1 April 2025 - 31 March 2026.   • Determine if financial statements are presented fairly in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and if the schedule of expenditures of Federal awards is stated fairly in relation to the financial statements.
  • Perform procedures to understand internal control over Federal programs and test internal control over compliance for major programs.
  • Determine compliance with Federal statutes, regulations, and terms of Federal awards that may have a direct and material effect on major programs.
  • Follow up on prior audit findings and assess the reasonableness of the summary schedule of prior audit findings.
  • Complete and sign specified sections of the data collection form.
  • Provide the HSRC with electronic and hard copies of the Final Audit Report.
