Request for Bid for the Procurement of Backup Solution Including Maintenance and Support for SITA Client For Period of Three (03) Years.

What this tender is about

The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) is seeking bids for a comprehensive backup solution, including three years of maintenance and support, for one of its clients. The solution must be deployable on-premises, support offline and air-gapped functionalities, and ensure data residency and sovereignty. Bidders must be Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or Original Software Manufacturers (OSMs) or accredited partners, and have proven experience in deploying similar solutions for environments of at least 500 servers. A non-compulsory virtual briefing session will be held on 22 September 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SITA-Supplier Oracle ERP portal by 11:00 am on 6 October 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. All bidders must be registered on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database.

Scope of work

Important requirements

• Bidders must be Original Software Manufacturers (OSM) or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), or accredited as a Reseller/Partner. OEM/OSM using a reseller model are not eligible.(RFB 3289-2026-Bid Specification.do..., section Technical mandatory requirements (Stage 2))
