The Road Accident Fund (RAF) wishes to appoint a suitable service provider to provide Cleaning Services for RAF, Durban Office for a period of twelve (12) months.

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is inviting bids for cleaning services at its Durban office, located at 199 Anton Lembede Street. This contract is for a period of twelve (12) months. A compulsory briefing session will be held on 2026-09-09 at 11:00 AM at the Durban office. Bids must be submitted via email to [contact on the official notice] by the closing date of 2026-09-11 at 11:00 AM. Late submissions will not be considered. The evaluation will be based on the 80/20 preference point system, considering price and specific goals such as HDI, women, and persons with disabilities. All bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).

Scope of work

• Daily office cleaning, including consumables and equipment, for the RAF Durban office.
• Provision of occasional cleaning services on an ad-hoc basis, with consumables, equipment, and labour, against a separate Purchase Order.
• Installation, maintenance, and servicing of all cleaning equipment, with defective items to be replaced or repaired within 48 hours.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning activities including floor maintenance, dusting, waste disposal, wall and paint spot cleaning, glass and metal work, and toilet cleaning.
• Specialized cleaning services for server rooms, hub rooms, and sanitization/disinfecting/fogging of offices on request.
