Request for Bid for the Procurement of Emulation Software Licenses and Support Services for the Eastern Cape Provincial Government.

What this tender is about

The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) is inviting bids for the procurement of Emulation Software Licenses and Support Services for the Eastern Cape Provincial Government (ECPG). This includes supplying 1000 concurrent user licenses for GPvNO TN3270e Emulation Software, along with maintenance and support services for existing 2500 licenses for five years. The contract allows for an increase of up to 1000 additional licenses based on ECPG demand. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database and comply with all technical and administrative requirements. Submissions are to be made electronically via the SITA-Supplier Oracle ERP portal by 11:00 AM on 17 August 2026. A non-compulsory briefing session will be held on 28 July 2026 at 10:30 AM.

Scope of work

Important requirements

• Bidders must be registered as a Supplier on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).(RFB 3269-2026 - Annexure 6c-Bid Sp..., section Registered Supplier)
• Bidders must be registered/certified with the Original Software Manufacturer (OSM) as a reseller/installer/partner for GPvNO TN3270e Emulation Software Licences.(RFB 3269-2026 - Annexure 6c-Bid Sp..., section Bidder Certification / Affiliation Requirements)
• Bidders must have provided GPvNO TN3270e Emulation Software Licenses including maintenance and support to at least one customer in the last five years.(RFB 3269-2026 - Annexure 6c-Bid Sp..., section Bidder Experience and Capability Requirements)

How to submit

• All bid proposals must be submitted via the SITA -Supplier Oracle ERP portal before the closing date and time. The portal is accessible at www.suppliers.sita.co.za. No manual hard copy submissions, email submissions or faxed submissions will be accepted.
• Bids must be delivered by the stipulated closing date and time to the correct address. No late bids will be accepted.
• Bidders are required to submit all returnable documents/information together with their Bids/proposals on or before the closing time and date.
